READING CHALLENGE

Brothers and Sisters,
We are excited about our upcoming 2025 stake youth conference - Lehi’s Book of Mormon Quest - and we invite you to participate with us in preparing for this great adventure. The Book of Mormon Quest will be held May 29-31, 2025
To help us prepare, we extend a reading challenge to each member of the Lehi Stake and invite you to do the following as part of your study of The Book of Mormon in 2025:
Pray each time before you read
Mark each verse that speaks of or refers to the Savior
Ponder about what you have read
Answer these questions from President Nelson:
“How would my life be different if my knowledge gained from the Book of Mormon were suddenly taken away?”
“How have the events that followed the First Vision made a difference for me and my loved ones?”
NOTE: Those who desire may make a personal goal to prepare for Lehi’s Book of Mormon Quest by reading the entire Book of Mormon before the Quest (please see the study outline linked below).
President Russell M. Nelson promises:
I promise that as you prayerfully study the Book of Mormon every day, you will make better decisions every day.
I promise that as you ponder what you study, the windows of heaven will open, and you will receive answers to your questions and direction for your own life.
I promise that as you daily immerse yourself in the Book of Mormon, you can be immunized against the evils of the day, even the gripping plague of pornography and other mind-numbing addictions.

Our greatest desire for this Book of Mormon Quest is that each of our youth comes closer to Christ, strengthens their testimony of the Savior and the Book of Mormon, and truly understands that this sacred book of scripture was written for US in OUR DAY!
We love our youth and thank you parents for all you do to raise faithful young men and young women. It is a privilege to serve these valiant youth and to join with each of you in raising this righteous generation unto the Lord.
